If you can't find me in the spring, I'm out hiking through the wood with a few pounds of photography gear strapped to my back. In the fall, I'm in my studio, where I'm working on mixed media art or doing a photo shoot. Besides my love of photography and crafts, I have a few other interests. Pets, from hamsters to horses, have always been a part of my life. I also am interested in magazine publishing and was the publisher for Cecil Child for several years. I am also very eco-aware and you'll notice that I talk a lot about recycling and green practices in business and art.

My Business Related Experience

I have owned and operated several small businesses over the years and have assisted people in setting up small businesses of their own. I was a member of the local Small Business Information Center for Cecil County and created and presented related programs. For several years, I taught non-credit courses on starting a pet sitting business and running an errand service.

I'm also interested in continuing to learn about the world of small business and take classes or seminars on a regular basis, including a few classes in hotel and restaurant management at University of Delaware.
